Hamer - WW2 Prisoners of War

I was looking at some prisoner of war records as my uncle, Harold Henry Hamer was a POW. So I sought to list all the Hamers who had also been taken prisoner in the 2nd World War. Here they all are:

I would love to find out more about them, particularly the escapees!

    im doing so recerch as regards my farther how in listed POWs
    stalag 20b. william hamer and finding a lot moor about his war service history as he like most simply found it to hard to talk about.
    we are from the city of salford

    My grand fathers name is Ronald Hamer he was in Norway from what I was told in ww2 - I’m not sure if he was a pow. My family is from oldham England. To be a Hamer is not easy , I wish us all the best xo family!

    My grandfather was 2692706 Hamer J (John/Jack). Was BEF with the Seaforths, caught at St Valery and remained as a POW for the rest of the war.
